Best film trilogies of all time

Interested to see which trilogies everyone likes the best. Really it’s a competition between only a few of these, but I figured I’d use up all 10 spaces. And mention if your favorite isn’t on here!

A few years ago I’d have said Star Wars, but between the prequels and sequels, I’m so burned out with it that I’ll say Lord of the Rings.

Toy Story and Dark Knight are also excellent trilogies.

The first two Godfather films are my all time favorites, but the final installment stops it from being the best trilogy.

Very easily between LOTR and the Before trilogy, then it comes down to personal preference.

Of these, easily the Before trilogy, as others have said. As for trilogies not on the list, despite how unpopular this opinion is on these forums, I would have to also throw support behind the Star Wars prequel trilogy.
