okay it’s hands down one of the best casts ever! I mean look at all those stars, and somehow Gwyneth shines the most, in my opinion.

Jude Law as Marge and Gwyneth Paltrow as Dickie?! Wow, that’s impressive.

Love, love, LOVE this movie! Everyone in the main cast is operating at level 10! Imo, it deserved to be the SLP, before SLP.

If I have to choose one, I’d go with Matt Damon, but Mr. Hoffman and Ms. Paltrow are within striking distance.

Great movie and awesome cast, but Blanchett’s bravura performance I loved the most.

Jude Law. In this and in A.I. he shines. Also, Philip Seymour Hoffman is so stellar here. He knocks me out in his few scenes; the first time he wows me from his filmography, and I loved him in Twister and Boogie Nights already.

Everyone is very good. Even Paltrow. “I know it was you! I know it was you!” Punch him out, Gwyneth.

I loooooooooove this movie, and this cast is PERFECTION. One of the finest examples of an ensemble cast I’ve ever seen. I voted for Damon because he is chilling and really quite spectacular, but even the smallest of roles are expertly cast and played. Gwyneth is superb, and Jude, and Cate (gorgeous here too), and Philip… Soooo good in just a few scenes. Did I mention I love this movie? Cuz I love this movie.

What I meant was, it deserved to garner acting nominations in both lead and supporting for its male and female actors similar to SLP. Only it would’ve been before, because it was released in 1999. Lol 🙂

In an ideal world it would have looked something like this –
    Best actor – Matt Damon
    Best actress – Gwyneth Paltrow
Best supporting actor – Philip Seymour Hoffman and/or Jude Law
Best supporting actress – Cate Blanchett

YES. That would’ve been amazing and well deserved.
