Best Original Screenplay of 2000s

Among all awards I found this category the most interesting. Whenever I want to watch something good and different I go through this category and I always find something new. This category usually honoure some movies that are difficult choice for Best Picture for some reason but equally good as them.

Some of my favourite Screenplays of 2000s are

Her
Amélie
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
A Separation
Inglourious Basterds

And my all time favourite is
2001 A Space Odyssey

I have read that Screenplay many times and it’s writing is equally good as or may be better than the movie.

That’s my very favorite category as well. It’s usually better than Best Picture.
