    1. Timothée Chalamet, Beautiful Boy
    2. Sam Rockwell, Cheney
    3. Richard E. Grant, Can You Ever Forgive Me?
    4. Daniel Kaluuya, Widows
    5. Sam Elliott, A Star is Born

Putting in a sixth as my alt, as I’m waiting to see ASIB and am not 100% sold on Elliott.

Chalamat seems like one of those paper frontrunners that evaporates as the season goes along. I’m not predicting BB for anything else so have no reason to predict him to win over people in BP films.

This is where I’m at but Beautiful Boy could surprise us and be competitive in other areas. I don’t think it needs a BP nom for Chalamet to win but I’m not sure he can win as the movies only nomination if that were to end up being the case.

I actually think BB gets in for Picture, Screenplay, Actor, and Supporting Actress and wins Supporting Actor. Besides, there doesn’t seem to be a BP contender with an obvious supporting actor candidate.

This is the weakest acting category this year. It´s Timothee vs Elliot, the rest doesn´t matter

Elliot is not winning unless his role turns out to be more stellar than we think. This is Timothée’s award.

    1. Timothée Chalamet, Beautiful Boy
    2. Russell Crowe, Boy Erased
    3. Sam Rockwell, Backseat
    4. Daniel Kaluuya, Widows

Bush seems like it would be a really baity role for Rockwell, he could pull a Jason Robards and win again.

Even if we disregard the fact that Rockwell won last year, I have a hard time picturing both Bale AND Rockwell winning for playing Bush and Cheney…especially if we are also counting Amy Adams presumed win for playing Cheney’s wife. 3/4 acting winners being the Bush Adminstration sounds ridiculous for an admin Hollywood/public actively hated on. If we were getting 2 acting wins for Cheney movie, I would think Bale is more likely over Rockwell, and I don’t think we’ve had a movie win 3/4 acting wins the same night anyways.

A Streetcar Named Desire and Network, I think that’s it. Right now I would guess Rockwell has a better chance to win than Adams but that could change when we hear reviews or get a trailer.
