Jennifer Hudson will be competitive for a nomination for Cats.

A stellar vocal rendition of an iconic song has won her an Oscar before after all.

Each time I see “David Copperfield” I think of Chester Copperfield from The Goonies Lol. Anyways, as said previously in the main 2020 thread, Maggie Smith is going to win over Annette Bening only to be found to be Hillary Swank disguised as Smith.

“No user starts this shady” - someone culturally relevant.

Also got banned because...reasons? So, I guess ciao.

Never bet on Bening, especially with her film’s release date.

loool, I swear Goldderby is low-key sadistic towards Annette Bening. poor thing.
    1) Everyone brings up the fact she lost to the same person (Hillary) twice.

    2) I remember back when Natalie Portman was a front runner for Jackie and Annette Bening was nominated for the CC Best Actress the same year for 20th Century Women, people here wanted both of them to be nominated at the Oscars (just so) Natalie can potentially beat her again.

    3) I think people low-key want her to lose to Swank again for the lols.

lol, Bless her. all jokes aside, I am rooting for Annette to win BSA this year. She was also great in Captain Marvel so 2019 could be the year of Annette Bening.

I was the 9th member of GoldDerby when it originally launched in the spring of 2001. Dating back 18 years, the history of GoldDerby was never deprived of bitchery.

It’s too early to predict a winner, it’s never early to predict the nominees!

    2. Margot Robbie, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
    3. Scarlett Johansson, Jojo Rabbit
    4. Laura Dern, Little Women
    5. Maggie Smith, Downton Abbey

A24 should campaign Juliette Binoche for supporting actress in High Life regardless of the likelihood award bodies will go for it.

I’m rooting hard for Annette Bening to win this year! I think she has the momentum like Amy Adams had around this time last year. Unless another ingenue that the Academy adores like Regina King blocks her way, or Fair and Balanced turned out to be another The Favorite, she’s got this!
