JLo will be JLo. She is just lazy with her choices.

I wouldn’t have minded Lopez getting a Nomination as she was quite good but that was never going to happen with her reputation I guess. I predicted her making the cut so I’m doing a hindsight is 20/20 thing. Hustlers makes you wonder what kind of actress Lopez could have been if she’d had made better choices.

She could be a well respected actress with the right roles. She was amazing in Hustlers and definitely deserved the Oscar nomination.

Although Laura Dern swept again at SAGs, I’m really curious about BAFTA because Margot has 2 nominations, Florence has a nomination, too and there’s also Scarlett who couldn’t make a difference on Dern’s chances at SAGs though.

The fact Laura has so much competition at BAFTA’s is the reason why she will probably win. If there was a clear runner up, maybe she could lose but vote splitting will work to her benefit.

Most of the awards won by Laura Dern for MS have been critics only.

Having now seen Jojo Rabbit, Bombshell, Little Women and Marriage Story, I have changed my vote to Pugh and wish her all the best. She’s made excellent career choices and had great performances in a few short years. She’s blonde, white and pretty and her movie came out a few weeks ago. I think she’ll win it. She’s taking Robbie’s roles from now on (because let’s face it, Robbie’s a bit creepy).

What do you mean Robbie is creepy

Darlings, Thatcher cannot stand the fact that Shouty Dern is SWEEPING for that mediocre performance. Sweeping, dear citizens! Sweep-ing! What the hell is going on? Since when making punchlines about God and portraying the same character all over again (but poorly this time) is Oscar-worthy? It is total nonsense. She’s the WORST amongst the nominees and she’s more decent in Feminist Little Women this year (not Oscar-worthy neither). DISGUSTING. DISGUSTING. DISGUSTING. Booty and Sweet Grandmother deserved justice!

So sorry, dear Shouty. But Thatcher isn’t going to support you this time. You don’t even deserve to be nominated. Accept it, dear citizen.

As a famous singer said, "ain't nobody gonna Thatcher, Thatcher, Thatcher!"

HAHAHHA I’m so glad Laura Dern is winning for that masterful, Oscar-worthy performance. Stay pressed Thatcha! You and your cult of fake cinephiles are going to eat some Dern at the Oscars. She’s winning and thank God she is. You know nothing about talent in cinema.

I love being a literate person.

First of all, Robbie’s not creepy. Second of all, Pugh is definitely not taking Robbie’s roles. Robbie’s in her prime right now, and while Robbie is probably the biggest sex symbol of her generation, Pugh has a less conventional Hollywood appearance. And while we’re still on the topic of Pugh, she’s not gonna win. Dern’s got this. If Robbie couldn’t beat her at SAG when she had the combination of the performance, the rising star status, the timeliness of her film and performance, and the fact that she was in two films that were embraced there, then nobody’s gonna best Dern at the Oscars.

HAHAHAHA how could she not? She delivers an acting masterclass with every appearance of hers. Eat it.

Yeah, she will be one of the worst Oscar winners

Please don’t remind me! I’m still not over the fact that Sweet Grandmother got snubbed. She should have been nominated instead of Kathy Bates. Bates was good but our sweet Grandmother was the best.

I just watched Marriage Story and I will say this – Why on Earth is Laura Dern sweeping for this performance?

Sorry, but Maggie Smith should have been nominated over this.

People should sweep when you give a powerhouse performance like Mo’Nique in Precious.
