Naomi has the best filmography but Natalie has the best performance (Black Swan) even though I’d tie it with Naomi’s in Mulholland Drive. Went with Naomi Watts.

Naomi has worked with so many legendary directors (Lynch, Haneke, Peter Jackson, Iñárritu, Eastwood, Cronenberg, Woody Allen) that makes it impossible to give Natalie the win (through she also has quite a great career). So my vote is on Watts.

I agree with TomHardys, in terms of performance I would say Portman, but as it is a question of the better filmography, I had to go for Watts.

Watts by a mile for me. She has the stronger filmography.

I’m a huge Portman fan, but I agree with TomHardys as well- Watts has the better filmography.

Love both but yeah, Watts for the win!

And even performance wise, I think Naomi could give her a fight with The Impossible or Mulholland Drive.

Does Naomi have an, “Your Highness” in her repertoire? And no, Diana doesnt count. Neither does King Kong.

Nononono… Her performance in King Kong is a thing of beauty.

Agreed. In a fair world, Naomi deserved to be there more than at least two of the actors she would have been up against.

    Judi Dench: Mrs Henderson Presents

    Felicity Huffman: Transamerica

    Keira Knightley: Pride and Prejudice

    Charlize Theron: North Country

    Reese Witherspoon: Walk the Line

I can see at least two noms above I wouldnt feel any qualms about removing to make room for Naomi. But, I guess other than the wonderful Ian McKellen, Edmund Gwen, Whoopi Goldberg and Julie Andrews, nobody in a fantasy deserves a citation.

Both filmograhies are varied, interesting yet surprisingly lacking in having more than a few decent flicks. However, Watts has Mulholland Dr. and Portman doesn’t.

I can’t at the randomness just for fun. N (Naomi) and N (Natalie) is the explanation?

But yeah, Naomi has better filmography. I mean, Mulholland Drive.

Lol. Pleez see my post above. King Kong IS a great film, and Naomi is MVP imo. But you know how it goes with fantasies.
