Again Timothee?. Chalamet is kind of boring(at least to me)

May 28, 2021 at 7:34 pm #1204277262Chalamet critiques aside, it’s a romance-horror movie so definitely not going to be nominated. I’ll stan Michael Stuhlbarg and that’s about it.
ReplyCopy URLApril 3, 2022 at 11:19 am #1204896236It was recently announced that MGM has acquired the theatrical distribution rights to this film. It’s their first acquisition post Amazon sale but I gather this movie is intended for theatrical release.

Last Night in Soho is NOT a romance movie despite having romantic subplot

ReplyCopy URLApril 6, 2022 at 1:10 pm #1204906518There was a comment on the deadline article reporting on the MGM acquisition of the film from a person who said he had read the script and that it was one of the best scripts he had ever read. It was very romantic and emotional rather than a a straight up horror movie.
After I read the comment, I immediately put Bones & All in my top 20. Plus, it’s a also a road trip movie and I know how the Academy loves a good road movie. In my opinion, it has a very good chance at getting nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay like Logan another genre road trip movie.

Oh. Really? Has that been confirmed. I always thought it was more of a TIFF film but I guess it could still play at TIFF after it’s Venice premiere. Lol
