I want this film to be great and I want Guadagnino, together with many other good directors starting from Matteo Garrone, to be the ambassadors of Italian contemporary cinema, not Sorrentino.

I’m reading the book now, haven’t gotten far enough to say how well I think it’ll do but Hammer and Chamelet will probably be oscar worthy. It seems like everyone is predicting Stuhlbarg, but he hasn’t done anything in the book yet, but I’m not that far in.

ReplyCopy URLAugust 1, 2017 at 9:57 am #1202171541There’s so much bass in Armie’s voice that it always sounds like some sound mixer is pitching it down lmao. I haven’t squirmed this hard since that Trevante Rhodes workout video.
I’m not okay!!!!!!!!!! everything was beautiful. Except for the weird YA-novel text overlay of the title. Who is making these aesthetic decisions because they need to get fired.

Omg it gave me 90s vibe. Cinematography looks top notch. This will be the critical favorite for sure but I can also see this flopping financially for some reason.
