Nicole had said she was only filing a week or two for her role. That it was very small role. She accepted Bc Charlize asked her and she wanted to act with her . Don’t remember article where I read it.
Interesting, I remember Gretchen’s lawsuit was what kicked it all off so it seems weird she only has a small role.
The trailer gives me HBO political movie vibes of Roach’s other films.August 21, 2019 at 7:57 pm #1203034244
Charlize starring in and as “Bombshell”. She looks even better than the botched original. It’s so on now.August 21, 2019 at 8:15 pm #1203034262
Charlize looks phenomenal! I’m convinced she will be a strong Contender.

I loved this teaser!
Emmy voters must bend the knee to Lena Headey & Emilia Clarke for "Game of Thrones." It's their last chance to award them. Make it happen.August 21, 2019 at 9:21 pm #1203034390
If Kidman’s role really is as unsubstantial as rumoured, they sure are doing their darnest to make it look otherwise. The second billing, paired with her prominence in the trailer, gives the impression that her contribution is significant.
What an appetizing teaser. Everyone looks set for a nomination, with Theron looking as much like a lock as possible at such an early stage. Robbie and Kidman just made the Supporting Actress lineup less weak.August 21, 2019 at 9:34 pm #1203034409
Kidman is the biggest name in the cast so even if she has a very small role it’s not surprising she has second billing or is prominently featured in ads.August 21, 2019 at 10:13 pm #1203034439

True, but it’s customary to bill superstars last (“and Meryl Streep”/”and Tom Cruise”/”and Nicole Kidman”) when they make cameo-like small appearances. Kidman is downright made to look like a lead here. But we shall see.August 21, 2019 at 10:56 pm #1203034479

Really hope this film manages to also hold these women accountable for how trash they are as well, hence the satirical tone 🤞August 21, 2019 at 11:15 pm #1203034499
I didn’t get any comedic vibes or the sense this was a satire from the teaserAugust 21, 2019 at 11:48 pm #1203034544
Best makeup Oscar winner.August 22, 2019 at 4:15 am #1203034688
I heard Kidman role is small but substantial and therefore she’s a colead even though her role is a lot smaller than Theron and Robbie. But It’s obvious that they would be selling this of Theron, Kidman and Robbie and no one else. They’re very big stars. It make sense that they have the Oscar winners billed first.August 22, 2019 at 4:24 am #1203034691
Yeh I think the billing is just for the teaser and I certainly don’t think Robbie will receive the “and” credit in that all-star cast, no offense. They did it for commercial purposes and I have to say the idea of that teaser is great.
They will probably give Lithgow And billing in the big trailer, since he’s playing Ailes. But the marketing will be all about Theron, Kidman and Robbie since they’re the ones that will bring the bucks and momentum.August 22, 2019 at 4:24 am #1203034695
I don’t like this title, Fair and Balanced would work better. Bombshell sounds… IDK… trashy? Teaser was interesting but I’d like to see the trailer.
Isn’t Margot Robbie’s character fictional?August 22, 2019 at 6:19 am #1203034774
The Predictions Center currently has Theron in Lead and Kidman and Robbie in Supporting.
IMO, Theron will be a lock unless the film flops critically.
Kidman and Robbie are wild cards, because both will have to deal with splitting votes with The Goldfinch and OUATIH, respectively. I don’t see both of them getting in unless (1) this film is better than both of those other two films; and (2) they have an undeniable case, like Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz did last year.
