Silkwood by a mile for me. She’s just fine in Moonstruck.

It's about the chaotic editing in Moulin Rouge!

It’s been many years since I saw Silkwood, so I don’t remember much about her performance. But she did nothing noteworthy in Moonstruck. She was just there.

I honestly like her better in Moonstruck
Her scene at the Opera is so beautiful

Maybe I need to see SILKWOOD again but I don’t remember her being anything more than “quite good”.

I think she’s underrated in MOONSTRUCK but I still don’t think she should’ve won the Oscar, especially with Close and Hunter and even Kirkland in the category.

I know it’s between her 2 nominated performances, but Mask really should be a part of the discussion on her great performances. Would she have won? No, but she truly deserved a nomination. But lack of one did help propel the narrative for her win in Moonstruck.

Yes, MASK was truly her best work and she deserved a nomination. Honestly, if MASK had come out a year earlier, I would’ve easily voted for her.
