I thought I would do another one of these threads because I enjoy these a lot. So out of his nominations which ones would you award hi? And would you give him any other nominations or wins?
For me I would not give him any wins from his nominations. I would however have nominated him for American Psycho, The Machinist and I would have given him the win for American Psycho because he was beyond brilliant in that film.

May 1, 2020 at 5:45 pm #1203458022I’d give him all his current nominations, plus ones for Ford v Ferrari, American Psycho, and The Machinist, but no wins yet. He, for me, has yet to be the best in his category.

The Fighter
Vice
The Academy could have definitely voted to give Bale his second rather than giving Rami his first. Nothing can convince me that Rami gave the better performance objectively.
*American Psycho
American Hustle
He could have been nominated in 2001, maybe take the slot of Ed Harris to be along with Crowe, Hanks, Bardem and Rush but Crowe would still win that year.
I also wouldn’t have nominated him for The Big Short. Would have given that nom to Steve Carrell from that cast instead.

I was very impressed with Bradley Cooper in A Star Is Born and would have preferred him over any of the other nominees.

Are y’all okay?
Watched American Psycho last night. He’s a true Artist. Equivalent to Blanchett, really.

Vice is one of the worst films of all time and the acting in it is horrible
