Check out for the SAG Awards 2018 Live Stream Online (Screen Actors Guild) later.
Prepare yourself for another awards night on January, 2019 because The 24th Critics’ Choice Awards might surprise you. The awards night will be honoring achievements in film and television again. You can watch Critics Choice Awards 2019 Live Stream on The CW.
Nell Minow of Huffington Post reasoned that the Critics’ Choice Awards is the best awards show of the season. Her first reason is that the decisions are made by full-time evaluators of the entire industry in a thorough process. In addition to that, Olivia Munn will be hosting the event. Reactions?
As the honors season walks on, the 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards will offer its own sentiments on the best movies and TV of the year. The Broadcast Film Critics Association might play second banana to bigger honors indicates like the Golden Globes and the Oscars, however the CCAs have something that neither of those significant honors have: a lady facilitating. For those keen on getting the occasion, which will most likely have what’s coming to its of must-watch minutes, the Critics’ Choice Awards service will air on The CW on Thursday, Jan. 11.
After the year that saw the ascent of the #MeToo development and a pack of abuse claims in Hollywood, the CCAs are adopting an alternate strategy from the Golden Globes and the Oscars with regards to who is running the night. The function will be facilitated by Olivia Munn, known for a productive profession than has included blockbuster films like X-Men: Apocalypse, TV dramatizations like The Newsroom, and a spell as a reporter on The Daily Show With Jon Stewart. While Munn will probably be an outstanding host (one of her initial parts was facilitating the every day Attack Of The Show! on the now-old G4 arrange,) this decision is additionally a sign that the CCA makers perceive that Hollywood needs to put its attention on tuning in to ladies and putting ladies forward, in each conceivable way.

Let’s wait until Thursday to see if it is still “the best”.
January 9, 2018 at 5:49 am #1202461730Bullshit. They’re the group that has a bunch of films and performances graded higher and praised harder than their actual list of nominees. They might be seen as the best as they try way too hard to include everybody just in case. And as we know and discuss every year, they just want to cover their bases and predict the Oscars.
So when snubs happen everywhere and people get upset, they didn’t happen with them because they were careful and have more slots. That’s the only reason why Greta Gerwig is nominated, which I’m sure is one of the reasons or main reason why anybody would consider them “the best” this year. Same with Jordan Peele. I mean if Olivia Munn is part of this story, then yeah, it’ll all circle back to Gerwig and Peele’s nominations.
It’ll sound like The Bachelor, but they didn’t do it for “the right reasons”, they did it to predict another show.
They’re still the worst. They’ll always look fake, forced and convenient.

They criticize everything else, every other list of nominations, while at the same time they’re being represented with a bullshit list of nominees.
Seriously, individually or even as a group they can have their actual BP nominees as the 6th, 9th or 15th best film of the year and then their top 5 “best films” receive like a consolation best screenplay nomination or not even a single nomination. How is that possible?
Sorry for the rant…
January 9, 2018 at 6:13 am #1202461743The Critics Choice Awards is the equivalent of a prediction ceremony where the voters are guessing who will take the Oscar in a few months. Barring serious change in the next few years, their already barely-existent relevancy will be down the drain, at least to people who actually give a shit about the awards season.
January 9, 2018 at 9:56 am #1202461922It’s nominations were a mess. BAFTA is the best so far. Even though they have some weird and boring picks, they also have the most inspired nominations.
BAFTA was invalidated when they nominate stuff like Paddington in the general categories.
Looking at the Nominee’s I feel like Critics Choice is the best one – they acknowledge the general consensus landscape of the entire season and seem to encompass the biggest names that have been lauded around as the best performance in the award circuit this year.
January 9, 2018 at 10:04 am #1202461932So what is the nominee list ??
January 9, 2018 at 10:11 am #1202461938I haven’t sat through a BFCA ceremony since that time they had a segment labeling Twilight the greatest film franchise of all-time.

January 9, 2018 at 10:13 am #1202461942It is… If you don’t watch any other awards show throughout the whole season.

Well they have nominations for Logan where the BAFTAs don’t.
The only morality in a cruel world is chance.
January 9, 2018 at 4:42 pm #1202462381Intrigued by the thread title, laughing at the opening post (“full-time evaluators of the entire industry in a thorough process”).
EDIT: Thread title has been changed 🙁
