I think you all are overstimating the word critics on this awards.Even they called themselves the “best oscars predictors”.Glenn Close is a sure thing imo.

I did that my first year oscar predicting. I thought they would go for Emmanuelle Riva over JLaw since she was critics fave at the time. LOL Yeah, these folks have no shame just look at their noms this year!

Thanks, I wouldn’t have looked for it on that network! (:

Honestly, I feel like everyone forgets that network exists so you’re not the only one lol.

^I think I only have two different predictions than eastwest – I am predicting Mahersala Ali for Green Book and I have The Favourite for Best Ensemble. I also think I have someone other than Elsie Fisher but I forget who I chose.

I’m guessing the only category they had a problem with was Best Supporting Actress. If King was nominated at SAG, they would have no problem penciling her name in. But because she missed SAG (along with BAFTA), they probably went through their own version of Sophie’s Choice.

They would pick an obvious Oscar frontrunner, but if it’s unclear who’s going to be the Oscar winner, then I’d think they would pick a more critical favorite.

So I’m guessing ROMA will win BP and Regina King for BSA?

I’m really hoping Grant wins but I think I chose Ali. Grant sure could use the momentum, especially if he’s taking BAFTA.

Roma winning all the categories will be boring to watch. I hope ASIB wins Best Picture or Bradley Best Actor.

I hope Bradley can come through tonight with an acting win. I can understand Close winning over Gaga, mainly due to the fact that she’s overdue, but I cannot handle if they’ll keep snubbing Bradley throughout awards season.

If anyone other than Gaga, I hope Colman takes the Oscar, based on performance alone. I wish Close won with a different film, but here we are.

I hope they start with the Supporting Actress category and get the joy or pain over with right away. I am predicting Regina King, which would be a joyful way to start the show – if it happens. They usually start with one of the supporting performer categories at most awards shows, hope it’s actress and not supporting actor!

IDK if i’m the only one… But i got a feeling that ASIB is going to have a repeat of the Globes. In other words, i think it’s only winning song.

About the show. Does anybody know at what time it starts?
