Attended a special event for Chinese cinema this weekend and saw all three Chinese language films in competition that year, and thought all of them were vastly superior to Dancer in the Dark, of which I’ve never been a fan.

Of course that’s just a personal opinion based on my own taste, but I’m curious what others think. Was it deserved? If not, which film do you think should’ve won? The poll only includes those that won a prize, but that was a particularly strong year with no shortage of notable films that had to be overlooked.

Dancer In The Dark was the last Lars Von Trier movie I liked, but also Yi Yi is just amazing and In the Mood for Love is also better.

    For Your Consideration:

    Best Picture: Wolfwalkers

    Best Animated Feature: Wolfwalkers
