Only one(the visual effects nom for the first one). Other than that, hell no. There’s no way the third one deserved sound nods over the last Harry Potter movie.

The first visual effects nod was deserved, but after that I’d say no.

Those films also didn’t deserve all the money they made.

I remember thinking the first is okay, but it’s much worse looking back on it. Although it’s a masterpiece compared to its sequels.

I think all of the Transformers movies deserved their sound nods. The sound Mixing and Editing in those films is incredible, even if it’s maybe a little too loud at times.

The first one deserved it’s Visual Effects nod for sure, considering how groundbreaking the effects were at the time. In my opinion, it also deserved to win over the massive flop that was The Golden Compass. However, the second film was rightfully snubbed in this category (since it didn’t do anything differently), and the 3rd film should have been snubbed too. In a perfect world I’d trade Dark of the Moon’s Visual Effects nom for a Sound Mixing nom for Revenge of the Fallen and that would be perfect.
