Both of them are too old. Disney wants a New Franchise from This Remake. Disney wants someone in his early 40s at oldest. 25-40 years old Lead

Jon Bernthal for John McCaine, Mads Mikkelsen for Hans Gruber. I know Bernthal is not a superstar but he has the right physique for the role, that blue collar roughneck touch, and the sense of humor while being target by a terrorist group keeping a Christmas party at hostage.

Die Hard is one of the greatest action movies of all time but I don’t see the need for a remake; I’d rather see a new and different great action flick.
