Lmfao. I bow to all of you. I had that phase around 2017 and i stopped at 1989. The lead actresses are barely even leads in their movies anymore and it was just way tooooo much.

Probably around 2045, people would be grateful for our recent noms because one movie typically get two actors represented. Less shows to watch.

I just love movies. And awards.

I’m more of a series person than a movie person so i tend to just watch the movies I’m interested in, which especially in the past 2 years have been movies that are likely to be up for the oscars. I really can’t wait to watch Nomadland.

    Emmy FYC:

Limited Series Lead Actor: Oscar Isaac (Scenes from a Marriage)
Limited Series Lead Actress: Jessica Chastain (Scenes from a Marriage)

Maid in all categories (Especially Margaret Qualley)
The Great in all categories (Especially Elle Fanning, Nicholas Hoult and Writing)
Better Call Saul in all categories
    Severance in all categories

apparently I’ve watched some 150+ best actress nominees whereas I haven’t even watched all the best actor nominees from the last decade

No. You can only watch so many movies and you shouldn’t sit through something just because it has an acting nomination, especially when you consider how many all time greats don’t get their actors nominated.

And how many mediocre performances get nominated (*coughs* Jennifer Lawrence in Joy *coughs*).

    FYC:

"The Good Fight", "The Other Two" and "Station Eleven" in all categories, Sarah Lancashire ("Julia"), William Jackson Harper ("Love Life") and Luke Kirby ("The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel")
