I don’t like this Director’s style but the Oscars love him. To have the real life MR explaining things worked in TBS but it seems stupid here. It seems Ariana Grande is playing a stupid version of her real self

Ngl, the trailer looks like a satire from Mel Brooks

    So it’s fucking awesome.

Does anybody know whether Matthew Perry is still in it?

Yes, but if I recall he was on set for only a few days. It was interesting that they didn’t include his name in the teaser. They didn’t include Chris Evans either. I’m assuming both of their roles are limited.

I never understand when someone hates a trailer why they spend time to say they hate it?
Anyway, it looks good. Same footage we saw during the Olympics but with a little extra. I dig it.

It looks like this is going to be like Mars Attacks, a funny movie that the public is going to love but critics are gonna hate

Well if that happens, I don’t give a shit bc I LOVE Mars Attacks lol, it doesn’t need a single damn extra thing for me to love it.

But okay srsly, why does JLaw do nothing but she does look great!

If some of you said the trailer looks/is shit, Trailer can be misleading and mischievous. I’ve seen terrible trailer from an otherwise good movie, so better take it with a grain of salt

I usually don’t like McKay’s stuff but I liked the trailer. Seems more accessible than his past films (Vice was just bad and The Big Short is not as accessible as people say it is)

It’s kind of funny to me the way people who have decided it’s going to suck are saying this clip is unrealistic meanwhile those people who have worked for government have defferent opinions.

My only problem is the editing maybe it’s for the promo but I hope it’s not the actual case in the movie.

and the movie develivered what exactly? It’s a boxoffice bomb. Critics average on RT is 7.6 from 88% fresh reviews while cerfitied audience score is 42% rotten. 79 meta critics and 6.3 audience. 6.4 audience on IMDB. Outside of critics circles, which aren’t that enamoured with it to begin with, average movie goer thinks it’s meh at best. So pretty much like the trailer.

Apparently Netflix held a screening for this in New York, and again the response was positive (I saw someone saying this on twitter)
