Here is the ballot I submitted, I didn’t vote in all categories.
Best Feature: C’Mon C’Mon
Best Director: Maggie Gyllenhaal – The Lost Daughter
Best Screenplay: Mike Mills – C’Mon C’Mon
Best First Screenplay: Fran Kranz – Mass
Best Female Lead: Isabelle Fuhrman – The Novice
Best Male Lead: Simon Rex – Red Rocket
Best Supporting Female: Ruth Negga – Passing
Best Supporting Male: Troy Kotsur – CODA
Best Cinematography: Passing
Best Editing: Zola
Best Documentary: Flee
Best International Film: Parallel MothersMarch 3, 2022 at 3:53 am #1204828950I a curious and intrigued to see if they will go maverick and choose lesser known independent films such as Zola rather than The Lost Daughter or C’mon C’mon; and will they choose Jessie Buckley or Ruth Negga… or someone else? I think there could potentially be huge surprise wins based on their willingness to confound expectations with their nominations.
I am most looking forward to the Robert Altman award, getting to see that amazing phenomenal cast of Mass FINALLY win a richly deserved award! They have all been done dirty throughout this awards season!
I wish they would show lots of clips this year but my memory is they usually don’t do it?

Not in supporting categories. Some of the nominees were basically cameos. Those, I believe will go the expected winners.

I’m surprised you are not predicting West side story in every category.

Looking forward to this stress-free awards show!

Wait, what did it win? I don’t think I predicted 7 Days to win its category.
