To be a conductor you need to have great knowledge of music theory and instrumentation, so I wouldn’t put past Lydia to have won any of the music categories. But considering the character and her specifics, I would find it very unlikely to have been for Music and Lyrics or Variety Special.
My best guess would be Original Main Title Theme Music. John Williams, Paul Englishby, Alan Silvestri, and Thomas Newman are some examples of conductors who have won this category in recent times. Music Composition would also be likely, but it might require more time than a person with that level of prestige in their main area would have to give. Basically any category involving music would be possible.

Adele is going to EGOT for sure.
Saying that, I really want these people to get it:
Barbra Streisand (I know she has an honorory Tony but let’sget her in a musical and get her the competative one!)
Eminem (missing Tony)
Trent Reznor (missing Tony)
Ringo Starr (missing Tony)
Paul Mccartney (missing Tony)
Cynthia Erivo (missing Oscar)
Bette Midler (missing Oscar)
