Given how much talk it gets on these forums, I figured this movie deserves it’s own thread.

April 16, 2022 at 3:24 am #1204918716Here I am darling, in my country, with the 1000th Fantastic Beasts movies, cheesy action movies, terrible dramas, and Mobile Legends tournament all playing in cinemas.
EEAAO will never be playing in this place lol.

I prefer my roses whiteApril 16, 2022 at 5:23 am #1204918802Needing a UK date announced now. My most anticipated movie of the year. Such a passionate response from fans (and almost all seem to be fans)
ReplyCopy URLApril 16, 2022 at 5:56 am #1204918867I might be the only one nervous about backlash and poor memories and some kind of critical smear happening to this film. But I’m used to that. It’s so freaking early.
Just reward Michelle. The chips will fall where they’ll fall

I prefer my roses whiteApril 16, 2022 at 6:23 am #1204918949Watch this movie get zero Oscar nominations. Another Uncut Gems / The Farewell incoming. It’s a nice original movie but you all need to calm down.

I wouldn’t go that far but we appear to agree.
I guess it happens.ReplyCopy URLThe Sunne in Splendour.

This comparison makes zero sense. While those movies are beloved, their passion doesn’t even compare to this.

If you say so, Oscar guy.

I don’t think so
This film is going to be No.1 for so many people come nomination day. Win might be tough but a nomination isn’t impossible
Until and unless something similar and pathbreaking overtakes it.

Per theatre average is holding well. Obviously needs to expand more (this is from last week), but looks to be strong
