Recently watched “Lean on Pete” and found the use of Selena Gomez’s “The Heart Wants What It Wants” to be used extremely effecting from a narrative stampoint.
Non-spoilers but halfway through the film plays the chorus of “The future that we hold is so unclear; But I’m not alive until you call; And I’ll bet the odds against it all” both a cathartic summary of the protagonist’s journey so far and the impending future.
What’s your own favourite uses of music supervision / needle drops in films?

In general, the overall use of Mozart’s music in that film is incredible.
