Acting wise they were good but the rest… I’ll pass. And I can’t take seriously any group/anyone who thinks TTOTC7 is deserving of a BP win.

I might be in the minority here, but I don’t think Olivia Cooke was very good in Sound of Metal.

The only thing I remember about her was the bleached eyebrows.

I imagine it’s Director v Picture. Not sure why it looks like they’re awarding Florian Zeller personally and not the film. I’d assume that the “Best First Film” is intended to go to a film, which happens to be the first one made by someone.

Why isn’t this group awarding production designer Donald Graham Burt like they’re supposed to? Even when the Oscar category was still called Best Art Direction it was the production designer who was nominated (along with the set decorator).

Talk about overreactive. 2nd place is significant for groups such as LAFCA and NSFC which don’t have official nominations but list runners-up for each category. A 1st runner-up spot for one of those awards is more significant than a nomination at the more minor critics groups.
