    I’m starting to feel like Frances is more of a Best Actress frontrunner at this point than Viola is.

    I would have Frances at #1 if it weren’t for the fact that she’s already won twice. I think that will be hard to overcome. Obviously that isn’t a problem for the critic awards.

    Wasn’t NYFCC the one that gave Best Picture to Mad Max Fury Road? If so then they’re my favorite.

    Just searched it up. National Board of Review were the ones that I was thinking of. LAFCA is cool too though: Miller for Best Director was the only correct choice that year. Innartu didn’t deserve two in a row.
