Judas and the Black Messiah sixth in picture, but Daniel Kaluuya not beginning his streak could be the beginning of the end.

    BEST DIRECTOR
Regina King, One Night in Miami

    Finally, a different winner!

    Chloé Zhao, Nomadland (tie)

Great observation. Maybe it’s too late for Kaluuya after all…

If Baron Cohen ends up winning with that nothing of a performance I swear to God

I noticed that as well. Lord saves us all…if Kaluuya is too late for the party then Odom Jr. please come through. I’ll take anyone but SBC.

This just makes me think the movie is not that good after all.

You’re the only one not relaxed here. Riley wasn’t jumping to conclusions but rather pointed out something that could be — not is — indicative of what might lie ahead.

Kaluuya is winning the Globe, SAG, BAFTA and the Oscar. He’s brilliant in “Judas”… The only place he could miss is Critic’s Choice which will probably go to Paul Raci (who is great of course).

If everyone else (the Globes) go for Kaluuya then so will the CC. Real critic pics never win here.
