Jodie Foster in supporting actress for The Mauritanian

Watch out for her. She could very well be this year’s Kathy Bates or Annette Bening and land a surprise nomination.

I think Promising Young Woman is taking Picture too now. I mean now The Prom has a yellow Metacritic score is there even anything else that can stop it lol?

It that never got a US release until the 4K restoration this year, so it’s eligible for US this year and NEON are including it in their FYC bundles to critics.

Sarah Marrs (BFCA, CFCA, and OFCS member) talked about on the most recent episode of her podcast (The Hollywood Read).

Lmao, that would be fun, but I doubt they nominate a film that is 17 years old.

The Prom was never in contention. You are forgetting about Borat which has the hype and the zeitgeist. I only hear about Promising Young Woman in this forum.

    This is HFPA though…

Hella impressed NEON managed to find a loophole for it.
