Taylor Swift (they love her)

Not eligible, they don’t allow documentary songs to be compete.

Was hoping to get to them earlier in the day, but going to be making my final predictions now. My existing predictions that concern me most are Nomadland in screenplay and One Night in Miami… overall.

I ahas just dropped Nomadland from Screenplay for Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom but that’s all I think I’m going to change. I have One Night in Miami as a why not prediction in Drama Picture although I really should change it with one of Sound of Metal or The Mauritanian if I am to go by the logic of what else I’m predicting.

George Clooney and Sophia Loren today…

FYC Emmys: "The Crown" in all categories, "I May Destroy You" in all categories, "It's a Sin" in all categories, "Small Axe" in all categories, Billie Piper ("I Hate Suzie"), Yvonne Strahovski ("Stateless") and Ruth Wilson ("His Dark Materials")

I’m expecting my favorite contenders to get snubbed, it’s easier that way. (I’ll still be depressed if they miss tho)

Best Drama really did feel like picking names out of a hat. Nomadland & Chicago are the only “locks”. Mank feels safe for now. The HFPA love Amazon Studios & I didn’t want to miss a consensus pick so I added ONIM. Then, I literally flipped a coin to keep Promising Young Woman.

Yes, my wildcard predictions are King of Staten Island, Emily Blunt, Renee Elise Goldsberry & Trolls World Tour.
