The movie is almost uninteresting until Ruby Thewes character showed up.

The movie is not bad bad bad, but she definitely is the soul that makes it interesting and drives the story with her glorious and pitch perfect performance.
Jennifer Carpenter in The Exorcism Of Emily Rose.
A quite typical horror film about an exorcism, but what makes it better than most others is the absolutely amazing performance given by Jennifer Carpenter, one that should be hailed as a classic among horror girls, to me one of the best ever in the genre.

Alec Baldwin – Miami Blues
Jean-Claude Van Damme – Cyborg
Chris Pine – Star Trek
Chris Pine – This Means War
Chris Pine – Small Town Saturday Night
Jean-Claude Van Damme – Hard TargetApril 24, 2020 at 8:54 am #1203445363RDJ Iron Man. The movie maybe wasn’t bad but it was utterly mediocre and RDJ elevated it so much it felt like an above average cape****. Which it really wouldn’t be without him.
That’s pretty standard for Favreau, when he nails casting (The Lion King was a disatser in that department as well as everywhere else). Farrell also saved Elf which would be insufferable without his committed performance.
Hardy saved Venom with his committed performance. Now that’s a flat out bad movie that Hardy made more fun than it had right to be.
Lupita in US. That was not a good movie and there will be time when critics who didn’t dare say it was so will admit it wasn’t good. But Lupita was so great she fooled everyone about the rest. Though whole cast did remarkable job, small standouts being Moss and Wright-Joseph.
