Emily Blunt should be a two time nominee already.

    They’re all bummed.

It’s kind of amazing Donald Sutherland never got nominated… And how did Mia Farrow not get nominated for Rosemary’s Baby???

Emily Blunt is underrated as hell. Also for Kirsten Dunst. Their talents and range are so much better than some of the young and overrated starlets Oscar nominees from the last decade.

Love this list as they are all so deserving, but I can’t decide between these two. Dunst was snubbed badly for Interview with the Vampire which would have been an iconic career boosting and rare nomination for a horror movie.

Blunt has shown more versatility in her career so far than many recent Oscar winners, unfortunately she’s never been in a Best Picture nominee. Once she has this fortune she should finally be locked perhaps even for a win.

    They’re all bummed.

It’s criminal how she didn’t get a nomination for Rosemary’s Baby, Alice or any of her great performances in the 80s

How is she overdue for anything? She’s had one film performance?

    Ann Dowd.

She should have been nominated for Compliance. But this is only her award-worthy screen role. So it’s not overdue.

Ewan McGregor. Always found it odd that he’s never really been in contention. He’s always consistently good.

It’s really unfair to have to pick between Emily Blunt and Kirsten Dunst, but Dunst has a longer career and therefore imo more great performances that should have been nominated pretty much by default. Both of them have some of the best range of any actors, so it’s pretty awful they’ve never nominated before.

Justice for Passing, Tessa Thompson & Ruth Negga.

The Power of the Dog / Jane Campion / Benedict Cumberbatch / Kristen Stewart / Kirsten Dunst / Troy Kotsur

I know everyone’s pointing out all the omissions but I love that Ben Whishaw and Paul Dano are on this list. They’re both just…so so so underrated. I’m low key in love with Ben Whishaw.

Justice for Passing, Tessa Thompson & Ruth Negga.
