I’ve seen and read and heard a lot from people about how a movie they watched changed or impacted their live in some meaningful way. Whether it be the characters, the story, the tech, the ideas or its overall message. But I want to know if the opposite is possible whether it was the movie’s intention or not. Has there been a movie that impacted you, someone you know or society in general in a less that stellar way?SHAREit

I know somebody who disliked the movie Gerald’s Game because its exploration of sexual abuse traumatized him with his own memories of sexual abuse.
