Ok, continuing the previous post made by @ENGLAND, here’s the list of the highest grossing films that earned Best Actor nominations. @Sir Shaw posted some of them in the previous post, but I think it deserves a separated discussion. Again, inflation is not included and I’m including films that grossed $300 million+ as for now.

The two highest grossing films are the last two winners in this category. Before 2018, the highest grossing Best Actor nominee was below the two highest grossing Best Actress nominees (Titanic and Gravity). Now only Titanic is above the biggest Best Actor nominee.
