    Sam Mendes vibes…

Fincher has already gone through that with The Social Network.

Fincher lost DGA though. Mendes won every single precursor.

Don’t forget to spill the tea after it.

I don’t frequently entertain the meritless, incoherent ramblings of Grace the-devil-incarnate Randolph (the same moronic c*nt who called Phantom Thread the worst film of 2017) but I have to concur with her in her review of Hillbilly Flopegy – she tore this film a new arsehole, deservedly so. She even launched a tirade on that unlikeable Shane-Dawson-lookalike child actor. What a week. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k7rh8o1RnbY

Grace Randolph looks like a coke addict everytime I see her in a YouTube thumbnail. I avoid her videos like the plague.

Well you should. She’s a terrible critic. The fact that she literally called Phantom Thread the worst movie of 2017 should be enough proof.

I never knew that until now LOL! I do know that she though Pedro Pascal threw a temper tantrum and left The Mandalorian because he couldn’t show his face, even though that was a major plot point in Season 1. So yeah, that’s some top-notch rumor reporting.

The metascore has gone down to 38… the chances for Amy and Glenn are becoming irredeemably bad.

Still surprised this is getting a theatrical release where I live. I might see it tomorrow as well.

If even DISgrace can see it, you know you fucked up.

To the stans predicting Glenn anyway…I mean I shouldn’t be surprised because you’re still not over the Colman thing but please give it up, it’s embarrassing.

How many Glenn Close stans are there that are doing that? Let’s not overstate that just because some like seeing one of best actresses on film and stage be in a flop and lose awards.

Plenty in the supporting actress thread still in the bargaining stage like, “well, maybe she won’t win, but she’ll be nominated.”

I’m still worried that she will be, with the ostensibly weak competition and baity performance. Some of the reviews for her personally are rather good. I just don’t want to see her go through all of this again only to go 0 for 8.

THIS. I’m not a hater, I like her. So let’s not put her through this again. I really don’t think it’s happening though
