Lol she’s still got No Time to Die in her BP, so I’m not gonna sweat about her predictions. She should stop tweeting her same clickbait indiewire article about Gaga if she isn’t going to give her the spot she deserves.

She only predicts movies she has seen. She (and no one else) hasn’t watched Nightmare Alley, West Side Story, Licorice Pizza and Being the Ricardos

Like someone mentioned, it’s all or nothing with this film. The Academy ate it up but then three people in NYC laughed at it so that must mean something lol.

Yeah. It seems they are only interested in Oscar voters. Not critics. Maybe works. Maybe not

Apparently the embargo lifting on Tuesday is for reactions not reviews? I’m a bit worried, I’d have thought they’d have more confidence with critics

That’s what I heard but I guess we’ll see if that’s true. Doesn’t make too much sense for me because then people could technically just tweet their reviews lol. The official premiere is next week so maybe the entire embargo will be lifted.

They’re having screenings for pretty much every group; voters, critics, and press so I’m not sure how true this is.

Well, I just hope it won’t tank or get universally panned.

The events with Ridley Scott, 2 other Producers, the writer and the Stars were Only for Oscar voters

Yeah, but there has been many other screenings. I mean obviously there are only going to be Q&A type things with important people. I mean look at how busy everyone is about to be. They don’t have time to go to every screening and do 30/45 minute Q&A’s with everyone. Not sure what the point of this post was.

The biggest events with everyone are Only for Oscar voters. I read only Lady Gaga and Jared Leto went to some events for critics

Twitter wouldn’t affect box office, but RottenTomatoes does especially if its rotten. They probably think they have something that will open really well and they don’t want to take any chances.

Maybe they’re going for the VICE strategy, pitching the movie directly to the voters. I think if the movie has a MC higher than 67, it’s already a big win for the performances at least. Because we all know the editing is poor apparently. So the movie just needs to be decent enough to not drag down the chances in the acting categories.
