A 2 hour 30 plus minutes ridley scott movie will definitely not be universally acclaimed by critics. With Scorsese they can ignore the pacing issues but they will not go kind on Scott but the actors should make up for the length. It will fare similarly to tld with critics.

For everything we’ve seen and heard, it’s very difficult for this film to be well received.

    Huh?

We have literally multiple tweets from sag/critic choice voters/guild members calling the movie super good and Gaga &co Oscar worthy.

The way you think some irrelevant selfcalled movie critic blogers have any say in the Oscar race 😂

Lets stop with the rumors. Matt hasn’t said a single thing, but we’re back again with “oh trusted friend/trusted member said this and that”. Just wait 3 more days.

Apparently the London Premier is happening on tuesday. Makes sense now why the embargo lifts that day.

I’m pretty pessimistic about the critics’ response. For everything we’ve seen and heard, it’s very difficult for this film to be well received. At the moment, I just hope the box office is good.

Everything we’ve seen and heard has been… positive. The named reviewers/critics/voters/members who have posted something about it on Twitter have all been positive. What am I missing?

He actually said Negia dislike the movie. But he also said he heard secon-hand. I’m not sure if is trustable or not, but he is a long time user it seems.

Not bad at all. I just hope the actual reviews don’t get worse. I want this film to at least be in the 70s on metacritic

    Laga Gaga for Best Actress.

House of Gucci for best picture.

Belfast for everything - Best Picture win

We need strong box office for House of Gucci. As long as the critical reception is mostly positive and the performances receive praise it’ll be in the Oscar conversation. Box office will be the factor that makes it unique as a Best Actress vehicle and a Best Picture hopeful.

Bad movie or not, looks like Gaga is going to be getting her dues.
