Apparently there’s rumor about Gaga possibly starring in Maggie Gyllenhaal’s adaptation of Rosemary’s Baby. Does anyone know anything about it? Can’t find any info on this project whatsoever.
Paramount is literally doing a RB prequel right now. I doubt they do a reboot unless they want to do the “sequel” to the prequel. Where’s the rumour coming from?
Also are there updated box office number for this, it’s been stuck at 98M overseas for weeks.
ReplyCopy URLI don’t believe those rumors but I think that Gaga was already offered her next role. She mentioned in a recent interview that she has a new project she’s not ready to talk about yet. And the way she took the Oscar snub very lightly makes me think she’s already moved on to something else.

She wrote the book-which was released this month-for her father and two children and also because she was unhappy with House of Gucci and she didn’t like the way Adam portrayed her father (she said he was hardworking and a brilliant businessman, and not “weak and spoiled”). I’m surprised this happened. I didn’t think she or her sister would publicly talk about the film.
-At 4:04, she talks about Paola Franchi. She says her parents were very much in love but their love faded away and Paola isn’t the reason her parents split. Her parents split in 1985 when she was 4 and Maurizio went on to have relationships with other women. She says her father met Paola again in the 90s and they moved in together in December 1994 and he was killed in March 1995. Over that period, Allegra says Paola didn’t cut her and Alessandra any slack. Allegra adds that its clear after 20 years that Paola only wanted a sort of reward, something materialistic. She adds that she doesn’t understand how Paola could attack the daughters of a man she said she loved.
-At 25:47, she starts talking about House of Gucci. She said the film lost the chance to tell a nice story and instead told a lot of lies.

huh what did people expect Gaga to do? She’s always been completely gracious about awards. It’s not what she does it for. She got her SAG and BAFTA noms and it’s obvious that she missed the Oscar nom because voters thought she was a lock and threw some votes to kstew as she had just been snubbed by SAG and it was blowing up. It’s actually not a bad thing fir her to miss. Considering quarters of film twitter were so snarky towards her all season I could just imagine how bad they will be the next time she’s in contention.
Gaga has a ton of stuff going on. A Las Vegas residency, a world stadium tour, songs for Top Gun 2 and a Paul McCartney movie, and you know she’s making moves in her film career too.. Abd that’s just some of it. People thinking she’s devastated over not getting (another) Oscar nom are a bit lame. And she’s still gonna be just as extra next time around. It’s like y’all don’t even know who she is after 14 years of constantly being extra. 🥴

Where’s this from? I’ve seen nothing from the Gaga stans I follow. Maggie is a big fan of hers though.
ReplyCopy URLStill hoping House of Gucci can pull a crazy upset and win Hair & Makeup over The Eyes of Tammy Faye, not just because I liked the movie more than most, but because I legitimately thought the craftsmanship was the best in how the hair and makeup signaled the passage of time.
