Don’t the authors of said reviews have to have them added?

I’m not sure. Online support for RT told me via email that “once the reviews are approved the links will be listed on our site.”

I’m hoping House of Gucci can stay in the top 5 at the box office for this weekend. $50M domestically would be a good number for the pandemic era, and it could end up at $140M total if it performs well in Australia, Italy and the Asian box office markets.

They did it dirty with Italy of all places. To premiere alongside Spider Man was so not it. I’m hoping that HoG will be the “alternative” choice for those who don’t wanna see it (but that movie is hyped to the sky)

A poignant film with a finely composed plot. The actors are breathtaking. Everyone passionately translates the tragedy. Lady Gaga fascinates as much as she plumps. A captivating and scathing drama.

You people better flood rotten (or the reviewers) with the positive reviews they hadn’t added yet because we’re in danger girl.

Eh, it’s fine. The narrative’s already been set and the box office success is more than enough to make up for whatever happens.

If y’all are worried, contact those reviewers directly lol.

Saw this last night and….my God, what a mess of a film. First issue right out of the gate is: why are they speaking English? Clearly they built this around Gaga, so why not keep her but add Italian actors around her and everybody speaks Italian or at least a more believable English with an Italian accent. Same issue as Dragon Tattoo, for example, but at least those accents weren’t as embarrassing.

Anyway, the real main issue is the boring-ass script, second issue is time, no need for this to be over 2 1/2 hours long. Gaga, best part of the film, disappears when the main plot point of the film is about to happen and this whole deal is about the killing of Maurizio and how Patrizia did it/planned it and we barely got to see that or really have enough scenes and moments to justify it.

I mean, “oh, you wanna divorce me? I’ll have you killed with the help of my psychic,” doesn’t seem like enough for the story they’re trying to sell or for us as viewers. It seemed very quick after so much wasted time before. She killed him because he wouldn’t accept a photo album? Okay, I guess.

Adam Driver was the worst part of the film, Pacino was just having fun and Leto was…I mean he was good, makeup is insane, but why that specific “accent”? It could’ve been so much better without it.

As for Gaga, sure, she did her thing and had several fun moments, but I wouldn’t nominate her for this and she’s most definitely not winning. I do believe her nomination is pretty secure right now.

I contacted RT support a couple times. I don’t know what’s going on, but there’s been an influx of negative reviews from Saturday night to now. What’s annoying is there’s at least 10-plus reviews that are a now two weeks old that still aren’t published…

Because this is a Hollywood film.

So I finally saw this film tonight and thought it was very good. I can understand if people dislike it, but the way some people are truly hating on it bewilders me.

Gaga and Driver are great and I also liked Leto and Pacino a lot too. Didn’t feel the runtime at all, was invested the whole way through. It’s not the best thing Ridley has ever done but I’d say this is definitely another W for him after Last Duel.
