How soon do you think Leonardo DiCaprio will win the second Oscar? Or maybe he will be the second Al Pacino.

He’s a big enough star to win in lead again.
ReplyCopy URLApril 11, 2021 at 3:45 am #1204191624Lol ofc he’s winning another one, maybe even more. He’s just 46-years-old. If Waltz + Ali could get 2, I don’t see why DiCaprio cannot win 2 or 3. He’s going to be acting for a long time, and his industry status is legit respectable. He is also a star and has the audience rooting factor.

I think though the highest chance to get a second for him will be playing Theodore Roosevelt (apparently the film will be directed by Scorsese after KOTFM is finished).

It doesn’t get more Oscar baity than playing one of the most famous and beloved US Presidents in history.April 11, 2021 at 8:56 am #1204191894I don’t think he will win again. It was hard enough for him to win the 1st time around, even as an industry darling. But who knows? I’d like to see it happen!
ReplyCopy URLApril 11, 2021 at 10:32 am #1204192222He’ll definitely keep getting nominated, but he probably won’t win again unless he does a film where his character is a massive departure from what he usually plays.
Funny thing is, the first idea for such a vehicle that comes to my mind… is a live-action Super Mario film directed by Guillermo del Toro. But then again, I’m divided on whether he or Stephen Graham would be the perfect guy to play the mustachioed plumber on the big screen.

I was just coming to say Roosevelt. It’s one of those roles that get you awards. Like Thatcher, Churchill, and Lincoln were.
ReplyCopy URLApril 11, 2021 at 10:41 am #1204192244Leo struggled to get his first, and he won’t have an overdue narrative any other time he competes in the future. Not saying he’s done, but he’s a big question mark.
ReplyCopy URLApril 11, 2021 at 10:44 am #1204192252he needs to be undeniable and needs a full sweep to win another one and I don’t see that happening any time soon tbh. he will for sure get nominated tho
ReplyCopy URLApril 11, 2021 at 11:28 am #1204192571He is my all-time favourite actor and he should have a few Oscars by now, but I have soured on him in recent years through a combination of his latest performances not quite living up to his peak and increasingly being creeped out by his object girlfriends.

That hasn’t been enough for Pacino so far, he should’ve won at least two Oscars, just like DeNiro
ReplyCopy URLApril 11, 2021 at 11:33 am #1204192647I don’t think he’s winning again for acting. But a producing Oscar seems like an inevitability.
