I liked it because jasonface attacked me for saying CMBYM promotes pedophilia yet he says TSOW promotes bestiality. What’s weird with that? Sometimes I just can’t with your cuntiness…

Bitchiest User frontrunner can’t even with someone else being cunty? Is the User Award campaigning starting yet? This is good for the clip reel.

Aren’t you the one defending CMBYN wasn’t about pedophilia? God, hypocrisy on these forums is reaching new highs with each passing day…

17yo and 24yo relationship = legal in Italy, still called illegal and immoral by the SJWs and haters on here

Human and fish relationship = illegal in Maryland since 1632, never mentioned on here by anyone as even immoral

HOW is there a debate over whether or not this was bestiality? Like okay the movie isn’t ABOUT or promoting (which I never said) bestiality but a human and an animal having sex is called bestiality. Hopefully it ages better than “Remember in 2018 when we rewarded a movie that said disabled people can only find love in animals?”

Alright well. With that, sorry if anyone was offended with my not really liking The Shape of Water and finding the relationship to be more gross than cute. Only the second movie this year that I complained about but I guess that was just too much to handle for some people. Everyone continue having your opinions and I’ll continue just talking about the movies I like from now on?

Personally, I think that The Shape of Water will remain one of my favorite Best Picture winners.

Generally speaking, I think with time most people will rank it as a middle-of-the-pack winner… And that will happen because Get Out will be the more remembered, more beloved, and more influential film going forward.

I think “TSOW” will be seen as a consensus, apolitical choice in a year that could have done better in that respect.

I find it a bit strange that a movie about a woman with disabilities, a gay man, and a black woman living in a society where all face overt discrimination form friendships, support one another, and work together to save a misunderstood foreign creature has been so broadly labelled “apolitical.”

Just because it wasn’t as flashy about it’s political commentary as Get Out and Three Billboards were doesn’t mean that it doesn’t contain social/political themes. Considering its story was largely about love, empathy, and inclusion, I think it was actually exactly the right political message to highlight this year.

I think The Shape of Water will be looked at respectably and middle of the road, similar to The Artist. I think it will be seen as a nice win, bu there were better options, even if it was my personal favorite.

Find it “strange” all you like, but my comment still stands. Also key is the way the political messaging takes form in the film itself. Unless just having deaf, black, and gay characters in your narrative is enough for you, fine. It’s not nearly for me, but merely milquetoast. That’s the difference between “Get Out” and “TSOW,” and you clearly see what won BP. The former will more than stand the test of time regardless over the latter.

Mr. Chocolate and I are dunzo. He was too liberal for my taste and quite boring. Last night instead of watching that tedious show with predictable winners I was riding the best cock in the world. I got back with my ex. If you would sit at least once on that cock you’d never want to get up.

Weren’t we supposed to be talking about movies?

I wouldn’t hesitate in the slightest to rank The Shape of Water among the 20 or so all-time greatest Best Picture winners. The die-hard Get Out fans are trying to force this inane “it’ll be looked upon as a lame winner” idea.
