I want something not named “Glory” to win Best Original Song and Michael Keaton to win Best Actor. Original Screenplay goes to Birdman, Boyhood, or the best option Nightcrawler.

If Nightcrawler manages to win Original Screenplay, I wont care how badly the show is run or produced, or how bad the musical numbers are.

That, and nothing for AS ; that’s about as much as I can dream of. I’d also love to see a ‘seat-filler’ refuse to get up and give his/her seat back to Clint Eastwood. Maybe he’ll start speaking to it again.

I want Boyhood to have more Oscars than Birdman.
I want Innaritu to win a total of zero Oscars.
I want to see Wes Anderson on the stage with an Oscar!
I want to see a true shocker in a major category – something like PTA winning screenplay.
I want Ida to win two Oscars.
I want a foreign language film to win animated feature.
I want Begin Again to win song.
I want a tie in supporting actor, so that Hawke or Ruffalo joins JK Simmons.
I want a standing ovation for CitizenFour.
I want no Oscars for American Sniper.
PLEASE, SCORE ENVELOPE – ALEXANDRE DESPLAT FOR THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL!
    AND LINKLATER BETTER TAKE DIRECTING!!!!

I wish for John Travolta’s role to be introducing Neil Patrick Harris by mispronouncing his name

Also for whiplash to do well, and if Linklater wons that would be great…I dunno, can’t I just wish that everyone has a good time?

I want Rosamund Pike to surprise everybody and pull off an Oscar win while Julianne Moore gets arrested. Then we hear a montage with a voiceover explaining how Pike sabotaged the ballots and blamed Moore for it.

I want Miles Teller to interrupt Neil Patrick Harris’s inevitable annoying musical number with a perfect rendition of Whiplash while JK Simmons gets up all pumped up and excited that he has found, yet again, the new Charlie Parker. After Teller’s amazing performance I want the security to escort Bradley Cooper and the entire American Sniper team on their way out while Jake Gyllenhaal occupies Cooper’s place as the much more deserving fifth nominee.

I want all the voters to wake up from the coma Felicity Jones’s performance induced them to and realize Jennifer Aniston must be there instead of her.

And this is not by any means obligatory but I’m expecting Rosamund Pike to finish what she started re: NPH.

I’ve said this before, but Neil Patrick Harris must make a joke about that. If he doesn’t he gets a big fail from me.

This is all I want – Michael Keaton to win. I am perfectly fine with Julianne Moore, J.K. Simmons (for an amazing performance by one of the great character actors of our time) and Patricia Arquette (even though Knightley wouldn’t be terrible) – Rosamund Pike would be such an awesome winner, but this is Julianne’s time – its tragic, because Rosamund could’ve won in a different year.

    But yes, Michael Keaton.

I don’t want “The Imitation Game” or “Birdman” or “Boyhood” to go home empty.

HALF of me WISH that Meryl Streep NOT WIN her 19th bid for the lower prize Best Supporting Actress for Into The Woods ….. SO she has better chances to WIN for the Bigger Best Actress prize bids on her 20th for Ricki and The Flash or 22nd for Florence Foster Jenkins.

HALF of me WISH that Meryl Streep WIN this Sunday as she deserve & more than earned it ….. AND already TIE the 4th Win record of Katharine Hepburn and perhaps breakaway on her 20th or 21st or 22nd bids etc …..

    HELP!  I’m so torn ….

If Ricki is her 20th and Florence is her 22nd, what will be her 21st?  If you mean Suffragette, her role is only a cameo.

To put it very simply, if my Oscars Dream ballot came true instead of my real predictions. I would be thrilled. Spoiler alert: Whiplash and Grand Budapest do very well.
