Something else to consider, does Universal push Babyteeth? It premiered at Venice in 2019.

I feel like Sound of Metal is more accessible than people give it credit for which is part of the reason why it broke out.

Borat 2 was always meant to be an election year film, pandemic or not, so I don’t think it would come out in 2019.

Also because of Disney Plus not getting released until at least November, Best Visual Effects would be:

+ The Aeronauts
+ Alita Battle Angel
+ Captain Marvel
+ The Irishman
+ The Lion King (D+ Premiere Access?)

For some reason, I could also see Amazon buying distribution for Rocketman or A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood and then making that their main push.

I think Rocketman would’ve been delayed. Neighborhood would probably have went to Hulu.
