I know this won’t happen, but let’s make-believe for a moment. Here’s the scenario: Coronavirus manages to wreck the film industry for the remainder of the year, and no new films premiere. The Academy’s list of eligible films is now shortened only to films that have already been released this year.
Who would be the nominees and winners?

Honestly, we don’t know if this whole global crisis will be settled and solved for September or October, so who knows??Btw Bloodshot sweeps, and Vin Diesel will win Best Actor.

Additionally, I think Emma takes home Production Design, Costume Design, and Makeup & Hairstyling, with Birds of Prey getting nominations in the latter two. Onward crushes the (nonexistent?) Animated Picture competition. The Banker wins Original Score. Birds of Prey takes Visual Effects, against Dolittle, Sonic the Hedgehog, Call of the Wild, and Bad Boys for Life. Cinematography goes to either The Photograph or Wendy, with BBfL and The Banker getting nominations. Miss Americana wins documentary.

I know competition isn’t all that stiff (at all), but I enjoyed that movie a lot more than I thought I would. Suprinsingly a lot of fun.
