I was recently thinking of how I’d like to see a remake of The Crucible at some point, as I found Arthur Miller’s adaptation of his play to be overly choppy and ruined the atmosphere and build up of the original play. And I’m thinking, if someone were to make another film version of this story, who would you want to star in it? After mulling it over, my personal picks would be:

    Adam Driver as John Proctor

    Michelle Williams as Elizabeth Proctor

    Andrew Scott as John Hale

    Florence Pugh as Abigail Williams

    Jeremy Irons as Judge Danforth

    Michael Stuhlbarg as Samuel Parris

    Eliza Scanlen as Mary Warren

    Frank Langella as Giles Corey

    Adam Driver as John Proctor
Michelle Williams or Anne Hathaway as Elizabeth Proctor
    Leonardo DiCaprio as John Hale
Florence Pugh or Soarsie Ronan as Abigail Williams
Jeremy Irons or Al Pacino as Judge Danforth
    Nick Offerman as Samuel Parris
    Eliza Scanlen as Mary Warren
Nathan Lane as Giles Corey (I Like the idea of Frank Langella tbh too)
