If AMPAS had a Best Motion-Capture/Voiceover Performance, who would have been nominated?

    I’d say…

    2019:

    • Jay Baruchel, How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World
    • Kristen Bell, Frozen II
    • Billy Eichner, The Lion King
    • Tony Hale, Toy Story 4
    • Tom Hanks, Toy Story 4
    • alt. Josh Gad, Frozen II

    2018:

    • Josh Brolin, Avengers: Infinity War
    • Bryan Cranston, Isle of Dogs
    • Holly Hunter, The Incredibles 2
    • Shameik Moore, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
    • Sarah Silverman, Ralph Breaks the Internet
    • alt. Eddie Redmayne, Early Man

Have a great day if you see this!

Sarah Silverman should be a shoo-in for both Wreck-It Ralph movies.

Josh Brolin would’ve gotten in for both Infinity War and Endgame.

He might’ve won either year, as no other voice/mocap performance had as much talk surrounding it as his.

Just watched Age of Ultron. James Spader gave a pretty decent performance, I think he’d get a nod.

Andy Serkis for Gollum and Caesar, and Scarlett for Her are the two that popped up in my head immediately. I guess voicing multiple characters in one movie will give one an edge over others??

I just love movies. And awards.

    Scarlett Johansson in Her.

I can see Her, right there with Theodore (Phoenix) with only her voice. It’s so full of emotions. She delivered her line masterfully. This is one of her best work to date.

The one that should’ve got more recognition, or even the Oscar. If this performance even considered in Best Supporting Actress category, not just voice over category, I would’ve happy to replace the Oscar baity Lupita Nyong’o with her.
