I agree. I wish it had received more than 2 nominations. While I liked Benedict Wong in the film I genuinely thought Paul Raci gave a better performance.
If Winston Duke or Zazie Beetz had been nominated for I definitely would have voted for them.

I think the fact that it was nearly impossible to watch it unless you attended Sundance contributed to its non-existent buzz because no one cared about it awards-wise. But people will react to it positively to it, I’m sure.

Yeah, I kind of jumped the gun a bit. I should have waited for voting to close too. My bad.
I also ran into the same problem in a few categories where I wasn’t passionate about any of the nominees. Sometimes, like voting for politicians, you simply have to choose from what’s available.
LOL! We didn’t agree in a single category. I did come close to voting for Turman and Lapsis though.
Thanks for sharing.

Owl, thank you for coming to my defense. I appreciate it.
It’s possible that their criticisms were all in good fun though. I got a bit of a chuckle reading their comments.
Even if they meant to be malicious I’ve learned to ignore the haters and there are PLENTY of those on this site.
You are a good example of how to disagree with someone in a respectful manner. I wish more people on this site were like you.
Thanks again and take care.
