A few days ago, I created a post about casting for a potential biopic of Greer Garson.

At one point, I suggested that Jon Hamm be cast as Walter Pidgeon, should the film be produced. Because… well… look at them!

They also are the same height (6’2) and even have similar voices! All Hamm has to do is speak at an even lower pitch than usual and in a Canadian accent, and he’s virtually a clone of Walter Pidgeon!

Feel free to discuss this idea below.

Also feel free to compare and contrast the two actors in one way or another.

Maybe when it comes to look, but acting? I don’t think Jon Hamm is in the same class as Pidgeon.

Of course he is. He is brilliant actor, with the right role he can easily add an Oscar to his Emmy. Don Draper is the most iconic male TV character alongside with Walter White and Tony Soprano.
