One of the few great films I’ve watched this year and part of only a couple that are actually nominated at the Oscars. Anthony deserved a sweep but oh well. It should be easily winning screenplay and editing as well.

It’s in the top 3 Best Picture nominee honestly. It’s really good!

I’ve seen it and I thought Sir Anthony Hopkins did an excellent job in the film. The emotion………………I did see a bit of chemistry between him and Olivia Colman. I’m wondering could he win BAFTA for Best Actor or will the late Chadwick Boseman continue his winning streak.

It’s gonna be released March 26th on VOD.

This usually only means US credit card holders with a US address currently in the US.

Saw it last month at a virtual screening. Sir Anthony Hopkins should be sweeping.

If anyone here in the UK is looking to watch it there’s 2 more screenings coming up; 26th March & April 8th.

Dang they’re really strict on the use of VPNs to try and sneak your way into the UK. I’m so willing to pay top dollar, like, take my money people! Illegal download it will have to be, they leave me no choice.

Since the expansion of best picture category, all of the best actor winners come from a best picture nominee. Sir Tony has a better reviewed performance in a better reviewed movie. An upset could be in the making in the best actor category. Don’t say it is impossible until the Oscar envelope opens.

I want to watch it more than Minari, ONIM, etc, but still can’t because it won’t be released until April in my country.

I can’t see Chadwick Boseman losing no matter how terrific Hopkins is in “The Father.” Of course, I thought Glenn Close was a given for “The Wife.” So there is always that possibility.

Nah – it’s not happening. Chadwick Boseman will win a well deserved Oscar. In my opinion, he is the one acting lock. Female actor races are not locked in and Kaluuya is almost a lock.

I just wish Chadwick Boseman was still here – hopefully, somewhere, out there, in the spirit worlds, he will know he’s an Oscar winner.

It’s not going to happen when Hopkins isn’t even going to be there and I can’t imagine them doing a whole In Memoriam segment and then handing the Oscar to someone else Boseman has been sweeping too and if he wins SAG and BAFTA it’s definitely not happening.
