I’ve been supportive of McKay way more than the next guy, but the idea of doing this film is just ridiculous.

Adam McKay’s latest in a series of heavy handed films, where he never elaborates on his 100% correct points and just decided to call people who disagree dumb.

I agree with the politics, but piece of advice, Adam, no one’s gonna change their mind because you called them an idiot.

This film is gonna be cringe and is gonna feed into the idea of January 6th being a historical moment… it wasn’t it was just some degenerates who got out of hand. Nothing has happened because of it. Making a film about it makes it seem like the alt right are gonna game end society. Just ridiculous. The more credit you give to these clowns, the more ammunition they have to make out the world is against them.

DLU was a comedy. A Depressing comedy. A comedy about the real life events of J6? I doubt it. So it needs to be a drama

If J6 is a drama, Trump could be one of the leads. Russell Crowe or DiCaprio as Donald J Trump
