Is Gaga finally get her oscar? Thsse pics give make me very optimistic about but I still have the nagging feeling that somehow Phillips will fail her, hoping I am totally wrong though and he will give her what she needs to shine.
For me, the film is locked for costumes, make up and score. Best picture and acting are high possibilities, but we need to see the film first before we call them locks. Gaga will deliver for sure, but the film needs to be really good for her awards glory to come. I pray it works. She’s multi talented

I just now saw the pictures of Gaga as Harley Quinn and I am fully convinced. I always thought it was a good choice because Gaga as a performer shares the character’s inherent theatrics, and the film provides a context where it can be used in a far less pretentious way than House of Gucci. I never liked Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn because I think she lacks a good deal of grit and edge, so I’m excited that the character is getting a more memorable incarnation.
Mark Bridges is in his Phantom Thread bag, what a fantastic costume. Very cool how he brought personality and clown references to formal attire. The rhombus motif from head to toe. The angular collar, the texture on the outside of the suit, the tights, the triangular puff sleeves, the print on the blouse and the cut of it that also ends in a triangle, the way the suit is styled with a single clasp right in the middle, creating a corset-like effect, an hourglass figure with two inverted triangles… We love attention to detail.This movie has the potential to be sooooo good, Todd Phillips I don’t trust you but I trust that GOD ALMIGHTY will touch you and make you do a great movie. The pieces are all there.

Grace Randolph said they changed the costume designer, she said is a woman, i don’t remember her name, that would explain why it looks so diferent from Joaquin’s first design Mark Bridges always talked how he wanted to make him look sexy and boy he did it, i’m not sold on that Gaga’s look yet, i hope this is intentional, because if it’s not it would be a big letdown
