Isn’t James Gunn overseeing DCEU only with Joker not being a part of it?

Also the release date and Gaga’s casting were announced amidst the Warner/Discovery merger chaos to relax investors worries about the company. It is one of their biggest assets now so highly unlikely it will be shelved, idk where this came from.
